To further demonstrate how course content related to employment counselling techniques such as personal branding, skills analysis, résumé writing, job search, and interviewing and how it informed my transition into a 1:1 Employment Counsellor role at 2nd Chance Employment Counselling.
Planning and Execution: I reviewed and consolidated five Action Learning Logs into a single reflective summary to evaluate how the theories, strategies, and counselling techniques explored throughout the course have influenced my practice. I also reflected on how these learnings have been applied within my work supporting clients through individualized employment counselling.

Project Goal: To develop a community-based employment resource guide that supports jobseekers in managing stress and maintaining their mental health throughout the job search process and workplace transitions.
Planning and Execution: I applied career development knowledge and local community resource information to create an accessible guide for clients at 2nd Chance Employment Counselling. The guide includes strategies for recognizing stress and burnout (p. 4), managing mental health during job searching and onboarding (pp. 9–11), understanding work-life balance (p. 12), and accessing mental health supports within the Guelph-Wellington community (p. 17).
